Happy Birthday Felix Rene!!!

I cannot believe it has been one year! This day came way too fast. My baby is now considered a TODDLER! Felix weighted in at 20lbs 12oz and 31in long!

I think back to his first year and what a wonderful time it was! He quite possibly could be the happiest person I know. I love every single thing about him...his laugh, his hair, his dimples, the gap between his teeth and his twinkling eyes!  His smile is contagious! 


The first year was full of excitement. I remember all of his firsts like they were yesterday.  I tried to capture anything that seemed important...and for me, that was everything! I am fortunate to be working part time therefore I have been able to catch many of his firsts!

Before children people tell you that it is life changing and that there is nothing better then being a parent. I always knew it would be a roller coaster, but there isn't anything anyone can tell you to prepare you for when the time comes. This love is the most ridiculous love in the world! You eat, drink, sleep and dream your children! They are your heart!

Felix Rene, I cannot imagine our lives without you! You have been the sweetest and most loving little guy! Our bond is amazing, you are my heart.  I love you bigger than all the mountains!  I cannot wait to see what great things you do in life!
