We had a fun, busy weekend! It was filled with all things we like. Felix LOVES having time with just us. He doesn't want to do anything on the weekends without "mommy" or "daddy".
We had swimming Saturday morning, which he wasn't so into. We left a little early and headed to 96th and Sandy, where there was a car show going on. I follow Tow Mater on FB. He said he was going to be at the car show, so of course we had to head over! Felix was loving it! He talked about it all the way to brunch.
Walter had been wanting to make a little trip to Multnomah Falls for a while, that is where our Saturday afternoon was spent. We took a trip there last year with the older kids, but they weren't interested in climbing to the top. We made it to the top this trip. I don't remember ever climbing to the top as a kid, but this was something absolutely beautiful. The climb up was hard with Felix in his stroller, but we kept trucking! Lots of rocks, trees and water to dip our feet in at the top. Once we were up there we parked the stroller and climbed around. Felix and Walter skipped rocks and I just enjoyed watching my boys and the beautiful scenery. The walk down or should I say run down went a lot easier and Felix loved the fast pace. On our way home we stopped for dinner, where we were even serenaded by a mariachi band. Totally our style and something we LOVE! Felix and Walter were happy as can be!
It was a long day, but one of the best! I love my time with them, watching them bond and hearing Felix say "Agua Fall"! There is no love like ours and it keeps growing!
