We started off by having a BBQ at my mom's, to spend time with my cousin in town from LA. Father's Day morning we woke up, had breakfast and gave Walter his gifts. Felix made him a fabulous tie (which he wore all day) and Cameron made him a bookmark. We then headed to Lincoln City. We were all excited. Once in Lincoln City, we had our Father's Day lunch at Mo's. We roamed around a little on the beach there, but we were excited to get back to the beach by the house we were staying at. The house was great. Cameron LOVED it! We spent a lot of time on the beach there, had a fire, roasted marshmallows and relaxed. It was such a great time. We were sad to leave, but ready to be home.
Wednesday and Thursday were beautiful! The kids played outside a lot, we went to Blue Lake, bought flowers for my yard, BBQ'd and just hung out. It was so wonderful.
Cameron and Madison went back to their mom's on Thursday. They missed her and were ready, by it was nice having them for an extended period of time. We managed to get a lot of pictures of the kids together!
On Friday we went on a date to the movies and then to dinner with Felix and my mom. We spent a lot of the next couple of days doing stuff around the house and spending time with Felix. He loves his time with mommy and daddy.
We built a lot of memories and loved our time together. I loved celebrating what a great dad Walter is and making his day feel special. Now back to the real world, I'm sad to leave Felix, but I know he will be fine. I just love being with him day and night!
