29 Months

The sentences are clear, new words everyday and with so much expression! He is becoming such a big kid!
Felix has become a little exhibitionist. He goes to his bedroom, shuts the door and reappears with his diaper and pants around his ankles. That was when we decided to try potty training. On Saturday, I took his diaper and pants off, brought his potty chair into the living room and started this new journey! I sat him on the chair, with his water and Little Bear...he used the potty chair!!! Walter and I yelled, hi-fived, hugged...and I teared up! I am so happy to be taking this next step, but it just is a reminder of how fast he is growing up. He used the potty about seven times on Saturday. Sunday he decided to take his own diaper off and try, we were not as successful, but he did use the potty chair multiple times. This morning as we changed his clothes he sat on the chair...and he went! During the week it will be a little harder, but at least we have moved beyond the refusal to sit on the potty chair!
He has quite the personality and loves to be silly. Felix cracks us up and makes some pretty funny faces. He is still a timid little person, but it comes and goes.
He is still picky, but loves his sweet treats! I would say right now he is loving noodles (noonoles) with parmesan cheese. He does like eggs quite a bit and fruit is high up on the list.
He loves the songs "We Are Young" and "I'm Glad You Came" and can sing along with them. He likes to dance around to all types of music. His snow baby is still number one! That baby has seen some brighter days, but man does he love that thing! He likes to run, jump, climb and most of all swing! Another thing we cannot leave the house without are his cars and trains. I try to limit what he brings with us, but somehow we always walk out the door with multiple bags.
We are busy! Walter and I are so proud of the person Felix is becoming, a little sad to say goodbye to our baby boy. It fills my heart knowing that he is a happy, growing child! Love you bigger than all the mountains FRG!
