July!

This month has been busy, but we got a lot done.

We have been slowly working on our backyard for months. When we moved in 2.5 years ago it was mostly overgrown weeds. Having a baby, working during the week and wanting to have family time meant our backyard makeover was put on hold. Last Summer we put in a new, bigger patio and made the chicken coop. That meant this Summer was the new grass. A couple weekends ago we rented a rototiller and went to town on our backyard. Walter worked so hard to get it all done. We spent 9 hours one Saturday tilling, raking and planting seed. We have built a fire pit and laid down gravel. It is definitely coming together. Our grass is really growing!

This past weekend we decided to have a garage sale. I had never had one before. Between Walter and I, we have a lot of stuff to get rid of. I sat out there all Saturday w/o many customers. Our neighbors were our big spenders! I didn't get rid of everything, but we made a good chunk of money. By the time Saturday evening rolled around I was exhausted. We had a really long, busy week and I worked my butt off!

I'm really proud of how or backyard is looking and it was all done on our own. It's very rewarding! I knew we were a good team, WRGA!
